The Melbourne Wolves basketball club welcomes its first ever girls’ team – the Melbourne WOlves U9 Dragons.
The players include: Nadia Sharma, Ella Shannon, Ludovica Bertacchi, Tilly Sheppard, Ella Grochowski, Aariyana Patel, Emily Dalins and Marley Gilbert.

“We are delighted to welcome Carla and Rachael and their Dragons team as our first girls’ team,” says Russell Witney, President of Melbourne Wolves basketball club, “we have decided to manufacture a pink version of Wolves’ basketball for the Dragons and many more girls’ teams to come.”
The Dragons will be training at Firbank grammar school in Sandringham and play regular games on Fridays.
