Melbourne Wolves Basketball club is delighted to welcome its 2nd girls’ team joining – the Arctic Foxes.
Coached by Keith Lu and managed by Rachel Au, the Arctic Foxes came short in the grand finals of the 2024 Spring season after losing their star player Claire Damen. They are looking forward to claiming their title in the 2025 season.
The players include: Sarah Abadee, Claire Damen, Emily Damen, Safia Poirier, Charlotte Roberts, Yingxin Xu, Paige Ward and Caroline Lu.
“The girls fought hard in the grand finals last season,” says Keith Lu, the head coach, “we forced our opponent into overtime with a game-tying 3-pointer, but without our top scorer due to injury, we came short. The girls have their minds set to win the championship next season.”
