In a top-of-the-ladder clash, the Melbourne Wolves U8 Girls Champions defeated the Melbourne Wolves U8 Girls Grizzlies in a hard-fought battle, running out 17-7 winners to maintain their unbeaten record through the regular season.
Champions' Offensive Firepower
The Champions were once again led by the unstoppable Evelyn Roe, who poured in 9 points to spearhead the victory. Evelyn's scoring prowess has been a defining feature of the season, and this performance was another reminder of why she sits atop the division leaderboard.
Ella Niu and Malia Johnson provided excellent support, adding 4 points each to round out a balanced scoring effort. The trio's chemistry and unselfish play continue to make the Champions one of the most dangerous teams in the division.
Grizzlies Battle Hard

With the regular season now complete, both teams turn their attention to the quarter-finals.
The Champions will face the Sharks on Tuesday 16 June at 4:15pm. The Champions will enter as favourites, riding their unbeaten record and the confidence of a dominant regular season.
